Ryan Smith, Principal & Vice President at Analog Mechanical Ltd., Calgary

CO-OWNER

Ryan Smith

Red Seal Plumber · Master Plumber · Gasfitter · Pipefitter · NCSO

Ryan has over 30 years in the mechanical trades, starting as an apprentice and working his way through every level of the field before co-founding Analog. He holds a Master Plumber licence, a Class A Gasfitter ticket, and a National Construction Safety Officer (NCSO) designation. Ryan still reviews estimates, walks job sites, and is directly involved in hiring. When he sits across from a candidate, he knows exactly what the job requires.

Hans Acht, Co-Owner at Analog Mechanical Ltd., Calgary

CO-OWNER

Hans Acht

Red Seal Plumber · Gasfitter · Gold Seal Project Manager

Hans has 25 years in commercial mechanical contracting and has run every seat — from journeyperson through senior PM — before co-founding Analog in 2014. As a Red Seal Plumber, Master Plumber, and Gold Seal Project Manager, he leads estimating, client relationships, and project delivery. Every number Analog puts in front of a GC has Hans behind it. He knows what work costs, what it takes to build it, and exactly how to close the gap between the two.

Nick McGhie

Red Seal Plumber · Gasfitter · Field Inspections

Nick McGhie is Analog Mechanical’s standard for quality on every active project. A Red Seal Plumber and Gasfitter, Nick oversees quality assurance and field inspections from rough-in through final sign-off. He catches problems before they become deficiencies, verifies every system meets code, and ensures work is done right the first time. His sign-off is the last checkpoint — and the assurance that every crew’s work meets the Analog standard.

Melanie Hofland

Construction Accounting · Office Management · HR

Melanie runs the business side of Analog Mechanical. With a background in construction accounting and office management, she manages payroll, subcontractor documentation, HR onboarding, accounts payable, and the day-to-day operations that keep the company running. She is the reason nothing falls through the cracks — from new-hire paperwork through year-end reconciliation. When the office runs smoothly, it is because Melanie made it that way.

Gerry Teunissen, Field Operations Superintendant at Analog Mechanical Ltd., Calgary

FIELD OPERATIONS SUPERINTENDANT

Gerry Teunissen

Red Seal Plumber · Gasfitter · RSE · Gold Seal Project Coordinator

A Red Seal Plumber and Gasfitter with his Gold Seal Project Coordinator designation, Gerry coordinates schedules, manages material logistics, tracks submittals, and keeps GCs and crews aligned from mobilization through closeout. He is the bridge between what the drawings say and what happens on the floor — and the first call when a project needs a fast answer.

"We do not hire to manage headcount. We hire because we have real work and need people who know the trade and take pride in it. If that is you, send your resume."
